If history has proven one thing, it is that criminals love when stores and restaurants ask people to leave their guns at home. It makes customers easy pickings for robberies and other crimes.
Just a day after Guns ‘n’ Freedom reported about 3 armed suspects robbing a man at gunpoint at a Target store in Gainesville, Georgia, Decaturish reported that a woman was robbed after getting out of her car in a Target parking garage in the Edgewood area of Atlanta.
The police report said: “She stated that as she walked to the rear of her vehicle a black male wearing a green shirt punched her in the head and she fell on the ground. She advised that the male took her purse and car keys and then stated ‘stay on the ground or I will ******** kill you.”
She did what the man said and robber drove off in her black Mercedes.
This is the 2nd incident since the retailer asked customers to not bring guns into their stores.
You think by now stores would learn what happens when you ask your customers to now exercise their 2nd Amendment rights. After Jack in the Box announced that their restaurants were a gun free zone, they had at least 4 robberies at gunpoint in the following weeks.
“Gun free zones” are where everyday honest citizens become victims.
That restaurant in Rifle, Colorado where the waitresses open carry and where everyone is encouraged to pack heat has yet to be robbed. Why? Because criminals prefer their victims to be unarmed.
