It’s been difficult to get any kind of accurate reporting on the situation unfolding in Ferguson, Missouri since the shooting death of Michael Brown has turned into riots and utter chaos in the town. The police came in with military grade arms, tanks, and equipment, and news reporters came in with a bias against firearms and an obvious lack of knowledge.
Ryan J Reilly, a reporter for the Huffington Post, showed how much he really knew about firearms when he made the following tweet after the height of the clash between police and protestors.

So this is the guy we are supposed to actually listen to when reporting on the situation in Ferguson? It’s hard to believe anyone in their right mind would even think these are rubber bullets nevermind a reporter who is supposed to be giving us the unbiased truth. It’s probably because the reporter has spent too much time with metaphorical earplugs simply blocking out the pro gun arguments that has lead him to think these little orange things on the ground actually go into a firearm. But do we really expect anything less from HuffPo? At least he finally got it right.
