We have reported multiple times on the story of Jared Marcum, the 8th grader who was suspended from school for wearing an NRA t-shirt and then arrested for refusing to remove the shirt. Now, 70 days after being arrested Wowktv.com has reported that the charges are finally dropped and the family is breathing a sigh of relief.
Thanks to common sense thinking (which came WAY too late) Jared will not have a criminal record for simply wearing a shirt that supports one of the principles our country was founded upon.
“It should have come sooner but it’s done and we don’t have to have that concern anymore about him having a criminal record” Jared’s father Allen Lardieri tells WOWK. “I’m just glad that it’s over. His mother is glad it’s over.”
