A man allegedly shot and killed one of two suspects who were trying to break into his home on Sunday night in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
Robert West, 42, was one of two men attempting to break into the 74-year-old victim’s house at around 9 p.m., reports WPXI Pittsburgh. The suspects allegedly beat their victim with an ax before he turned the tables on them and pulled out a gun, which he used to shoot West dead.
The second suspect, who has been identified as Andrew Graseck, reportedly fled the scene on foot and was later arrested. He is now in police custody.
The victim, whose name was not released, was reportedly treated at a hospital for his injuries. His current condition is not known.
