A would-be-robber in Little Rock, Arkansas found out that it’s a lot harder to rob a place that is run by a gun owner.
Police in Little Rock are looking for a man in his 20’s who tried to rob a pharmacy last week. The robber walked into the pharmacy with a machete in his hands.
When the man raised his machete to threaten the owner of the Medicine Shoppe, the owner pulled out his own weapon, a .45 Glock. Needless to say this ended the robbery, and the suspect took off immediately. Police are currently looking for the man in the picture above.
According to Arkansas Matters:
The suspect is believed to have had a lookout described as a heavy set white man who was wearing a large loose black t-shirt and baggy black Dickies style shorts, along with knee high white socks.
This is yet another example of a gun being used to stop a crime. No shots were fired, and anti-gun activists will completely ignore this story while never understanding that guns are used in self-defense every day.
The suspect has not yet been caught, but the point is that he came in with a weapon to rob the store. When someone is carrying a weapon and threatens to use it you have to assume they WILL use it if given the chance. A .45 caliber handgun pointed in his direction was all it took to spare the store owner his profits and possibly his life.
