The online retailer giant had already banned flash hiders from its website, and now Amazon is making more moves to ban gun accessories and attachments.
TheTruthAboutGuns.com just reported that their contact received the below message from Amazon, stating that muzzle breaks and recoil compensators will no longer be sold on the site.

We are writing to let you know that the following detail pages have been removed from our catalog: ASIN: B018OQQGS6, SKU: K03-0009, Title: “ktc california special muzzle brake – blem” [ED: as above]
This product has been identified as a muzzle brake or recoil compensator. Amazon policy prohibits the sale or listing of muzzle brakes or recoil compensators . . . Action Required . . .
Within 48 hours of this notice, please review your remaining listings and make any changes necessary to ensure compliance with our policies. Failure to comply with this request may result in the removal of your selling privileges.

Enjoy those gun accessories while you can on Amazon. There are still well over 1,000 results for “AR-15 muzzle brake” but who knows how long these listings will remain on the site.
If other retailers who use the site to sell their products don’t get this memo they may have their accounts terminated.
You may remember our Christmas post on Amazon products to get for any gun owner. But with these policies becoming more common place I wouldn’t be surprised to see any kind of gun product (even safes and holsters) being banned from the site.
