Armed Robber Ignores Starbucks CEO’s Memo Against Guns in His Stores

starbucks is robbed by armed man

Starbucks has asked gun owners to leave their guns at home.

In September of this year the Starbucks CEO sent out a memo asking all gun owners to leave their guns at home.   The company originally just followed all local laws relating to guns and had no problem allowing gun owners to legally carry their firearms into Starbucks locations throughout the US.

The memo said,

“I am writing today with a respectful request that customers no longer bring firearms into our stores or outdoor seating areas.”

Well it looks like a Colorado Springs criminal is ignoring that memo.   KKTV.com has reported that an armed robber entered a Starbucks pointing a gun at the employee behind the cash register demanding money.

The Starbucks employee gave the gunman the money and the crook ran out of the establishment that so politely asked law abiding gun owners to no bring guns to their stores.

It’s no surprise that a criminal ignored the store policy since he already ignored the law to rob the Starbucks.  But it looks like Starbucks wants to make sure criminals don’t have to worry about being harmed when using their own guns to carry out their robberies.

I KNOW!!! It is just so hard to imagine that a criminal would commit maby three criminal acts at the same time. Robbing a store. Using a gun to rob a store, and more than likely using a gun that he didn’t register before robbing the store. O THE HUMANITIES!!! It’s a good thing the honest, law abiding Citizens left their guns in their cars or the criminal might have gotten hurt.

If starbucks doesn’t want guns in their store , fine ! That is their right . It is MY right to not purchase ANY starbucks products because of their stand on the 2nd amendment !! But I DO think they should put up a sign saying that they are a gun free business so the criminals won’t be harmed as they leave !!

Spot on James….IF STARBUCKS DONT WANT FIREARMS INSIDE THEIR OUTLETS, PUT OUT A SIGN ON THEIR WINDOWS…SO THAT ROBBERS KNOW THEY ARE SAFE IN ROBBING STARBUCKS….

I haven’t been into a Starbucks since that memo was released. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Signs don’t prevent crime. It is proven time and again. School shootings will continue as well, until well trained, armed security guards are posted in every public school.

Same here. I will not support a company that thinks telling me to not carry my gun helps make me or my family safer.
