So now we know that Michael Bloomberg’s real goal is to make every gun owner the “bad guy”, even the police who shot the Boston Marathon bomber.
Bloomberg’s bus tour for Mayors Against Illegal Guns has started in New Hampshire with a major gaffe, although we think it may have been on purpose. At a rally for the “No More Names” bus tour a list was read of all the names of those who were the victims of gun violence since the Sandy Hook school shooting. Among the names read was the name of Boston Marathon bomber, Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
Yes, you read that right. The name of the man who was responsible for killing and injuring dozens of people with an act of terror has been memorialized by the same gun control crowd that is trying to label every gun owner as the problem.
If you remember, Tsarnaev, a terrorist, was killed in a police shootout. Which makes me wonder, how many other names were read on that list that were actually criminals who were shot after breaking into the home of a gun owner or shot by police. Here at Guns ‘n’ Freedom we regularly report stories of homeowners shooting intruders and other self defense gun uses that are ignored by the major media. So are even criminals who are shot while trying to hurt someone memorialized as well?
What about the names of those who are saved by guns every year? The only reason we don’t read lists like that is because it would simply take too long.
What this really tells us is that these gun control advocates would rather see criminals (and even terrorists) memorialized for the sake of their unconstitutional argument than to see gun owners keep their rights and let the bad guys lose.
After their “mistake” was pointed out the organizers of the rally finally apologized, but this was only after groups like the New Hampshire Republican Party brought attention to this faux pas.
So do you think their apology is worth anything? Leave a comment below to let us know what you think.
