CLEVELAND, OH — This home invasion went badly for the armed intruders when they chose the wrong home to rob. In yet another case where an armed citizen is able to save lives, this story began when some armed criminals broke into a car in a garage and started going through all the belongings.
When a woman walked out of the house with her 2 children they spotted the men who pointed their guns at the family and told them to give up their purses and cell phones. It was actually one of the children that first noticed the men and said, “Mommy, he has a gun.”
But thankfully, the live-in boyfriend also had a gun. He heard a shot outside the house and when he saw what was going on he grabbed his gun and fired a shot through the window at one of the suspects who was pointing a gun at his girlfriend. The bullet struck the suspect in the back and the other armed intruders fled the scene.
Police caught up with the men later and the suspect who was shot was sent to Euclid Hospital for treatment. Watch the video of the story below:
There are some missing details in this story, but it just came out this morning, so as the story is updated we will update this page. Right now the couple involved in the home invasion are not wanting to be interviewed but that could change by the end of the day.
