While President Obama and other anti-protectionist legislators tell us the San Bernardino shootings could have been nothing more than work place violence, we are being overwhelmed with contrary evidence.
As “Rudy” Giuliani said, you would have to be a moron to not see this was terrorism, and now we have even more proof that this is the case.
Even CNN begrudgingly reported that the female shooter involved in this act of terror, Tashfeen Malik, posted her pledge of allegiance to ISIS via social media as the attacks were happening.
We are being told the Facebook post was made on a separate account but that officials have confirmed Malik made the post.
This from CNN:
A law enforcement official said it appeared that Wednesday’s attack — which left 14 people dead and 21 wounded before the two attackers, Malik and her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, were killed in a shootout with police — may have been inspired by ISIS. But none of the officials said that ISIS directed or ordered the attack.
“This is looking more and more like self-radicalization,” a law enforcement official said.
Another official said authorities haven’t ruled out that others may have influenced this radical view. In addition, the law enforcement source said investigators have a greater focus on whether the shooting occurred after a workplace issue with religion.
Lawyers for the Farook family said relatives have no idea why the couple burst into a holiday luncheon for Farook’s co-workers and viciously opened fire. Nor did they have an idea the couple had a makeshift bomb lab in the apartment they shared with their 6-month-old daughter and Farook’s mother. Nor did they know either of them were radicalized.
We really need to consider why the left insists this is not terrorism. It should be obvious to most, but in case it’s not clear to you, think about this. If this is work place violence or just a disgruntled couple who went postal at a workplace it’s easier for our president to blame the NRA and gun-toting Christians for their support of gun rights. In fact, after every mass shooting the anti-gun left is quick to exploit the event as another reason to support their anti-protectionist agenda. This is why they don’t wait for the facts to come out. The facts don’t matter to them. It makes you wonder whose side they are really on.
This administration’s policies have failed. And we are now hearing that these Islamic terrorists even slipped through DHS immigrant screening. But still we are told we can let Syrian refugees enter the US without any vetting process.
But if this is terrorism then the president has no one to blame but his own failed policies that have failed to go after after terrorism both internationally and here at home. If this is terrorism (which it is) then taking away more guns from law abiding citizens only makes it easier for terrorists to carry out their attacks. If this is terrorism then ISIS is NOT contained. If this is terrorism then this administration has lied to us about being safe from the kind of attacks we saw in Paris. If this is terrorism then we need more citizens being able to carry firearms to prevent such attacks.
Think about it. Who benefits most from fewer people being able to defend themselves with firearms here in the US? Those who want to kill innocent people. In other words, taking away firearms from law abiding citizens only empowers and enables more terrorists.
There were at least 12 pipe bombs found in the home of these 2 terrorists, and yet we don’t hear a single word from the anti-gun crowd about putting an end to these devices that could have killed way more than 14 people in San Bernardino. Each one of these pipe bombs could have killed multiple innocent people, and yet it all comes down to guns.
By the way, the magazines (not “clips” that we keep hearing on the news) that were used in these rifles were NOT legal in California. After all the trouble the state went through to ban high-capacity magazines, somehow the terrorists decided not to obey the laws. I guess if you are willing to kill 14 innocent people in cold-blood you don’t care about a law on a piece of metal that could easily be smuggled over the porous Mexican border.
