Connecticut Gun Owner Gets Letter from State Rejecting “Assault Weapon” Application

Gun owners in Connecticut have already had to deal with severe restrictions on their 2nd amendment rights, and with recent gun control laws passed in the state it looks like the law abiding are being asked to compromise more of these rights while the criminals continue to do what they do… break the law.

We just reported on the long lines of CT gun owners being required to register their guns and magazines with the state and one man who has been charged with failing to do this, but it looks like at least one gun owner has received a letter rejecting his “assault weapon” application.

Apparently the applicant was late by one day and has now incriminated himself.  Congrats Connecticut.  This is the future of gun control in anti-gun states unless these ban-happy politicians are relieved of their duty.
