A Connecticut man was held at gunpoint while two men stole his Thanksgiving turkey. Watch news video below.
While many of us were preparing for a Thanksgiving feast on Thursday one man had his feast taken away by a couple thugs with a gun. The two men are still unknown.
“I was just robbed at gunpoint. I was walking to a friend’s house for Thanksgiving and just now they took my turkey, stuffing,” the victim told the dispatcher.
The 911 operator first thought the whole thing was a joke and officers felt the same way, but after finding out that the call was legitimate they felt bad and ended up buying the man an entire Thanksgiving feast via Boston Market. According to Myfox8,
“He shows up honking his horn and I come down thinking the found the guy and my turkey,” Mulligan said. “He comes out of the patrol car with two Boston Market dinners for me and my friend. Did it make the day better? Yes. It absolutely did.”
