Here’s a lesson to Colorado lawmakers who pushed for gun control: GUN OWNERS DON’T FORGET! Oh, and they vote too.
Some key democrats who pushed for gun control laws that passed in Colorado are now having to campaign to keep their jobs. One of these campaigns is being run by Democratic Senate President John Morse who was a supporter of gun control laws that have angered gun owners.
Besides the fact that the new laws are unconstitutional and place restrictive limits on gun owner’s rights, voters are upset by the Bloomberg campaign to enact these laws in the state by spending his millions of dollars to push an anti-gun agenda.
Watch this Colorado news video of the recall elections:
By voting for senseless laws that do nothing to stop gun violence and everything to restrict gun owner’s rights, the 4 democrats who are facing recall efforts to have them removed are necessarily getting nervous. They may not represent the 4 who were the most influential in the gun control debate, but they come from districts that actually have a chance of succeeding in having these anti-gunners removed.
The gun rights activists have been busy getting petitions signed and there is a real push with a lot of momentum behind it. Voters are angry that lawmakers would ignore the voice of gun owners and now it’s time for their voice to be heard.
So why did Bloomberg spend millions of dollars to get gun control passed in CO? The Centennial State has been the guinea pig for anti-gun lawmakers in the US. They want to see how far they can push their gun control agenda.
But with the backlash from voters who are sick of being turned into criminals because they own guns or have “too many bullets” in their magazines for lawmakers to be satisfied, this is also a testing ground for gun rights supporters.
We are all rooting for the Colorado gun owner that was ignored with the recent gun bill being passed.
Pueblo Freedom and Rights and Basic Freedom Fund are two of the groups behind the funding of this recall effort, but others are starting to get into the ring as well, as they see what this could mean for gun owners across the United States.
