In bowing to the pressure’s of the anti-gun movement, Chipotle has caused a huge stir among gun owners who are saying they will not eat at the Mexican food chain until the company stops disarming their customers. You can read the official statement by the company here.
Gun owners took to the Chipotle Facebook page to express their frustration with the company. Social media is a blessing and a curse for companies, but when a company makes a move that dissatisfies so many customers it’s hard to hide the negative comments that ensue.
Here is a snapshot of just a few of the comments on the most recent post, which is totally unrelated to Chipotle’s gun ban announcement:
Many have vowed to never eat at Chipotle again and the comments are piling up for the company.
Instead of listening to the common sense customers that eat at their restaurants the food chain chose to give in to the anti-gun views of gun grabbers who will not stop until every area is a “gun free zone”.
We just reported about a steakhouse in Georgia that initially put up a “no guns” sign of their own, but when there was a tremendous backlash from the community they reversed their decision, realizing that a criminal is not going to obey the sign, and it makes every customer a sitting duck. You can read about that here.
Will you eat at Chipotle as long as you are not allowed to have a gun there? And if not, will you be letting the company know about your decision? We’d love to hear from you.
