But when the wife of Juan Williams was robbed in a public place the first thing she wished she had was a gun — not a phone to call 911 or a whistle to blow… but a gun.
According to the Washington Times,
The Fox News commentator who recently made media waves for calling on America to disarm — admitted the first thing his wife wished for when she was recently robbed: A gun.
Mr. Williams recounted on “The Lars Larson” show this week that his wife pulled into a gas station this past weekend and “while she’s trying to put the credit card in, some guy rushes by her, gets in the car and drives off with the [darn] car,” he said, Breitbart reported.
And her first response, he said: “I wish I had a gun.”
Mr. Larson advised Mr. Williams to buy his wife a gun “at the next opportunity,” Breitbart reported.
Mr. Williams just made national headlines a few weeks ago when discussing the Fort Hood shooting and saying that what’s called for is a “gun-free America.”
