According to the Las Vegas Sun, there was a man that was shot in the parking lot across from the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel when he approached a vehicle with a drawn weapon after an argument.
The Metro Police interviewed the shooter and will submit the case to Clark County District Attorney’s office to consider any charges. No names are being released at this time.
It happened in a parking lot at a strip mall located at 4400 Block of South Paradise Road. The man who originally drew his weapon was found lying on the parking lot with a single gunshot wound.
Initially the man’s girlfriend told police that the victim and the shooter were in some sort of argument while still in their vehicles. The victim reportedly,
“got out of his vehicle, pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the occupants of the other vehicle, police said. A passenger in the vehicle pulled out a gun and fired one round, striking the victim,” said police
The Clark County Coroner will release the name of the deceased later in the investigation.
In this article, the victim is at fault because he drew his weapon after an argument and approached the other vehicle to harm and intimidate. He did not think that the passenger in the other vehicle would be armed. Had the passenger been unarmed this story would have had the headlines two found dead in car.
