In case you missed these comments in the democratic presidential debate the other night I thought this would help enlighten voters to what this party really represents.
You will notice that the phrase “gun control” has been discarded by the democratic party. It has been replaced with “gun safety” even though it means the same thing as gun control. It just makes them feel like they are taking the high ground in this debate, all while stripping law abiding citizens of their constitutional right to defend themselves.
If these measures actually made anyone safer we would see Chicago as more of a playground than a war zone.
Candidate Martin O’Malley is more like a 3rd wheel in this debate, but he stole some thunder from Sanders and Clinton while pointing out their inconsistency on guns.
On the gun issue O’Malley mentioned successfully passing comprehensive gun safety legislation in Maryland, saying they didn’t interrupt anyone’s hunting season and he’s “never met a self-respecting deer hunter who needed an AR 15 to down a deer.”
Because that’s the only good use for a gun, right? That’s the belief in the democratic party. But even that doesn’t make sense when you consider the PETA-like protections this party wants to put on animals.
Still the left-leaning party wants us all to believe that guns should only be used for hunting and any ideas of using guns to defend one’s life or family is just a fallacy.
I guess he doesn’t read our blog and the countless defensive gun uses that happen every day.
I don’t see how anyone can say “the democrats do not want to take our guns” when this debate so clearly revealed the agenda to target not only the AR-15 (which is used by millions of Americans by the way) but any gun that can be used to defend one’s self.
Have you ever noticed that whenever democrats talk about guns it’s about what you “need” rather than what is your “right”. What if we took that same logic and applied it to free speech. Do you really NEED Facebook, Twitter, or even email to communicate your thoughts? No? Then bring the ban hammer.
It wasn’t long ago that the beloved Bernie Sanders said that all guns that can be used to kill people should be banned. Their agenda is clear. Now it’s just a matter of making our votes count.
