After hearing Eric Holder push for more gun control and advocating gun tracking bracelets, Sarah Palin just couldn’t sit by and let him get away with that nonsense. She’s not about to let Holder give her fashion tips on how she should accessorize.
If you’re a reader of Guns ‘n’ Freedom you know that we aren’t big fans of smart gun technology. Mainly because it doesn’t work, but also because in a life or death situation you don’t need another variable to be the cause of your gun not functioning properly.
While testifying before a House appropriations subcommittee a few days ago, Attorney General Eric Holder said he met with “gun expert” Joe Biden and they discussed some ideas on smart gun technology.
Holder’s brilliant plan was to spend $2 million on things like gun bracelets that only allow the wearer to fire the gun, if and when the technology doesn’t malfunction that is.
Since anti-gun lawmakers already treat gun owners like criminals we might as well wear tracking devices on our ankles to match those gun bracelets.
Sarah Palin took to Facebook to give Holder a piece of her mind saying the following:
“Attorney General Eric Holder thinks government should force gun owners to wear special “identifying” bracelets?
Hey Eric, these are my identifying bracelets:
One honors our military;
One honors independent Americans who have a healthy distrust of Washington’s permanent political class and who will fight against elitists hell-bent on fundamentally transforming the USA;
And one celebrates the year 1791 – that glorious year our Bill of Rights came to be, with the cross and bones symbol representing our Founders’ “Death to Tyranny” commitment, and on each side you’ll see symbols of my faith. Complete with Swarovski crystals, I might add.
Eric, you can replace my identifying bracelets with your government marker when you pry them off my cold, dead wrists.
And, Eric, ‘You don’t want to go there, buddy.’”
