We like to see stories where even though the person attacked did not have a weapon readily available, he still managed to win in the end.
According to the Beaufort Gazette, the 29 year old Burton man arrived at a home off of Carolina Avenue where he was planning on buying an Xbox One when a gun was pulled on him instead. When he initially arrived there were two men that met him.
He was able to wrestle the gun from the one man’s hand and take it with him when he left down Bruce K. Small Road as the two men ran from the home.
When he returned home he called the police and told them of the situation. The gun was turned over to deputies, where it was found to be stolen from a Burton home back in 2007. The sheriff’s office is needing assistance in locating the suspect. An adult black male, 20 to 25 years old, about 6 ft. 2 in. and around 150 pounds.
Even though the attacker has not been caught, he is at least one gun lighter and a little wiser as he just got a second chance at turning his life around. Next time, the gamer may be packing heat.
