It is always good news when the homeowner walks away with his life. In Timberlake NC this homeowner shot and killed an intruder when he walked in with a shotgun and demanded money.
According to WRAL news the Person County Sheriff would not release the name of the homeowner. The homeowner found Jonathan Ellis Ziminack age 25 in his bedroom at 5 a.m. wearing a hoodie styled mask.
The homeowner then pulled his pistol out and fired one shot at Jonathan. The bullet struck the shotgun that Ziminack was holding and went through into Jonathan’s stomach. He died while in transit to the Duke University Medical Center.
Deputies stopped Ziminack’s girlfriend driving the would be get a way car in the area and arrested her for conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary Her bond is set at $75,000.
The authorities are considering charging Bowling with first-degree burglary and attempted armed robbery.
