Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn announced a new program that encourages businesses in his city to go “gun free” with little stickers in the windows that say…
“No Guns Allowed Inside. We are proud participants in Washington Ceasefire and city of Seattle’s GUN FREE ZONE.”
But gun owners who understand their constitutional rights are not happy with the mayor’s decision and they are showing it with their pocket books. More gun owners are simply refusing to shop at businesses that carry this sticker.
According to KREM, so far 50 business have signed up with the “gun free” program. That means that at least 50 business owners believe a sticker will stop a madman with a gun from entering their business and also believe that law abiding citizens with guns are a problem.
But as the grandmother says in the video below, “The sticker will not protect you!”
I have issues with the reporter saying the issue is not political it is personal. Of course this is political. With more gun control laws coming down the pike every day, it’s politics like this that lure the simple minded into believing gun free zones actually protect them. If that’s the case, don’t call those people with the guns to come help you when you find yourself in trouble. Just let a mall cop or rent-a-cop gunless security guard come to your aid when an intruder breaks in.
If these business see enough backlash from gun owners and supporters of the 2nd amendment who refuse to shop at their stores, perhaps they will realize that this little sticker will not only NOT protect them, it might even cost them some money.
This military expert says you should be hoarding these 37 things now before the coming crisis. He says stores will empty their shelves in just 2 hours and it will be impossible to get these 37 hings. Read More here.
