Update: 7th Graders Who Played With Toy Guns in Their Own Yard Have Been EXPELLED by the School

This zombie hunter gun got a boy kicked out of school, even though he used it in his yard

We just reported yesterday on the story from Virginia Beach in which two seventh graders were suspended from school for playing with toy guns on private property.  Now WAVY.com has reported that the 2 boys have been kicked out of the school.  Read the original story here and watch news VIDEO of the story

.

“VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A seventh grade Virginia Beach student previously suspended for shooting an airsoft gun has been expelled, WAVY.com has learned.

During a hearing Tuesday morning, Aidan Clark and Khalid Caraballo were expelled in a unanimous vote. Clark was offered the option of attending an alternative school, but his father, Tim, told WAVY News’ Andy Fox he will be homeschooled.

Caraballo will attend an alternative school.”

As you might have read in our original article, the toy guns were never brought to school or even onto the school bus.  The boys were playing on a private yard and were no where near the school bus or bus stop (actually they were more than 70 yards away).  So what’s the reason for this expulsion, other than the fact that the school wants to make a statement about guns, even little plastic ones that shoot plastic bbs.

Listen to the 911 call from the mother who called it in:  http://media2.wavy.com/audio/Carew911call.wav

WAVY.com located the 911 caller and spoke to her.  She confirmed Khalid was taking target practice using a zombie hunter airsoft gun to kill the zombies.  There was also a net behind the target to catch the plastic pellets.

The caller also knew the gun wasn’t real and said so, “This is not a real one, but it makes people uncomfortable. I know that it makes me (uncomfortable), as a mom, to see a boy pointing a gun,” she told the 911 dispatcher.

So because this woman was uncomfortable with what another mother’s child was doing on his own private property with a toy gun we now have the school getting involved and expelling the boy and his friend from school.   Score one for the busybodies of the world.  Score zero for common sense.

For those that don’t know what airsoft guns are, these are NOT real firearms and cannot be used as such.  The use springs to shoot small plastic bbs and about every kid I knew growing up had one or wanted one.  And no, they did not shoot an eye out.

Thanks to one of our readers for letting us know the school’s contact info in case anyone has questions about the school’s policy:

I can believe this……..because that’s the way this country is headed…….and it will only get worse………glad I don’t have any young kids, its over for them. The school systems are lost too. Everybody better get right with God……its gonna be a rough ride from here on out, and we will be persecuted for being a Christian soon. There is already a lot of that going on now…….but, it will get worse, get ready!

What about all the waterguns that are out there for the parents to buy their kids are they going to try and take them off the market. Guns don’t kill people its people that kil people.

That woman is the problem, she’s a victim of the US propaganda machine and from listening to her 911 call its obvious that she has no respect for constitutional rights, independent freedom or liberty, respect for privacy, or the 2nd ammendment. She called the local PD because 2 kids are playing in the front yard…??? This is direct action of a certain kind, and its the kind of mindless direct action that is making history along side this anti liberty movement that is taking place in the mass media.

That busybody of a nextdoor neighbor should be arrested for placing a bogus 911 call over a damn toy! And the school needs to worry about what happens on school property not what happens on private property. Typical government overreach! I hope there is a lawsuit coming soon to a school district near Va. Beach!

Keep your personal opinion out of it, lady, and stick to the facts. 911 doesn’t have time for your ‘feelings’ on the issue. “There’s a boy with a gun that he’s pointing at a tree and I can’t tell if it’s real or a toy. There are other children across the street at the bus stop. Please have someone verify this is safe.” That would have been acceptable and understandable given that she didn’t know whether it was a real gun or what the boy’s intentions were. Commentary about how toy guns shouldn’t be pointed at anything, however, is unnecessary and a waste of 911′s time.

As for the school – get a grip. How do they even have authority or say over this matter? I’d say sue the pants off of them, but for Pete’s sake, public school funding is already so short that it’s producing morons who expel children for playing in their own yard! It would be sad to take More money from the school system – think of the idiocy potential if there was less funding than there is now.

Well these kids will have a whole year to egg, TP, ding -dong -run on her house and being the criminal mischief villains she believes them to be. When she cries they should be in school, she has only the mirror to blame. i hope they give many bags of dog poop……

Does she even care that she got the two kids expelled and robbed of their right to education.

Her home address and identity should be available for anyone who needs advice from such a sage oracle….
