This story came out a couple years ago but the 911 tapes were just released by police this month and you can listen to them in a video below. You probably never heard this story anyway because it doesn’t fit the agenda of certain networks.
A 53-year-old woman was in her shower when the lights went out. When she stepped out of the tub she saw man standing there with a kitchen knife.
But this 34-year-old intruder, Israel Perez Puentes, was about to tangle with the wrong woman. The woman who was also a private school counselor struggled with the intruder as she fell back into the tub.
Fighting the man off with the shower curtain rod she told the man she had money, and the man forced her into the bedroom. It was there that she grabbed her .22 pistol and shot the man repeatedly. Several sources say she fired 9 rounds at the man. And in her own words,
“I shot him as much as I could!”
Watch the news video of this story below and the 911 call is in the 2nd video below it.
After receiving multiple gun shot wounds, Puentes stumbled out of the house and collapsed in the back yard. He later died at Gwinnett Medical Center.
On the day of the crime neighbor Rebecca Wisecup said she woke up to screams and crying. At first, she thought it was her young son, until she walked down the hallway.
“I found our neighbor lying naked on our kitchen floor, wet and screaming that someone tried to kill her and that she had shot him,” Wisecup said through swelling tears.
“She didn’t know if he had run away or what happened, but she managed to get out of the house and into our house,” Wisecup added. “She was just inconsolable and a pile on our kitchen floor.”
Gwinnett County Police are looking into the possibility that Puentes has sexually assaulted other women in the area. They believe he planned to do the same thing Wednesday, and his would-be victim will not face charges for killing him.
If these sources are correct and she fired 9 shots at the intruder, it makes New York’s gun control law (SAFE act) not just unconstitutional but dangerous. The NY law makes it illegal for citizens to have magazines that hold more than 7 rounds.
And many more states have enacted laws that restrict guns to 10 rounds. Even after 9 rounds this man did not drop right away. Yes, it was a .22, but imagine if there was more than one intruder.
