After a recent letter was sent to Connecticut gun owners who failed to register their so called “assault weapons” and “high capacity” magazines, many gun owners are wondering if CT police will be enforcing this law by going house to house to confiscate the previously legal guns. Watch video below to hear the conversation.
This video of an audio recording conversation between a woman and a Connecticut officer named Lieutenant Vance has not been completely authenticated yet, but so far it looks like all the facts seem to line up.
The woman starts off by asking about a letter her husband received that says her husband’s guns and magazines are now illegal and must be turned in or destroyed. She asked what would happen if her husband refused to do so and exercise his 2nd amendment rights.
While I would take issue with the woman’s approach and would have rather seen more applicable questions asked, the Lieutenant was obviously not pleased with yet another phone call about the “confiscation” letter. It had been the 3rd time that day he received a phone call about it.
But with tens of thousands of CT residents refusing to comply with recent gun control laws you can be sure that these kinds of calls are happening all the time across the state.
The woman’s real question remained unanswered: Will this Lieutenant Vance obey orders to confiscate guns from CT gun owners?
