Owning a gun possibly saved the life of this woman and her daughter, and it also helped save her store from financial loss. Without a gun, she realized she would be completely at the mercy of the criminals who kept on robbing her store. But now, armed with a gun, the balance has tipped in her favor.

A Memphis, Tennessee shop owner was sick and tired of crooks robbing her store. After being robbed twice, she decided to get a gun, a .38 revolver.
This time, when 3 men with guns came busting in the door she pulled out her .38 and fired a round at the suspects. Needless to say, they didn’t stick around and ran out of the store with nothing.
The woman, who wishes to conceal her identity, had this to say about the robbery:
“Sometimes, you know, you just don’t think you react. You got the fear but you also got the anger. Because you’re tired of it and we work so hard for somebody to come and just rob us like that,” she said.
“I was not that kind of person that wanted to have a gun. And I never even thought that I would shoot at somebody, but when you’re in that situation where you say it’s my life or their life, it’s my life.”
Two of the suspects were caught just a few blocks away from the scene of the attempted robbery.
It’s important to note that the store owner says she didn’t think she reacted. The time to prepare to defend yourself has to come well before the incident when your life is in danger. If you have to take the time to think, it’s already too late. She wasn’t prepared the 1st two times, but thankfully she was still able to exercise her 2nd amendment rights in Tennessee and stop the bad guys.
If the gun control groups had their way, these crooks would have had a safe work environment. Thanks to a gun, they will have a day in court.
