A kindergartener was given detention, made to apologize, and humiliated for bringing the world’s tiniest toy LEGO gun to school.
Ok, it might not be the tiniest, but being slightly bigger than a quarter it’s difficult to see how this could possibly be a threat to ANYONE, except the anti-gun agenda that schools keep pushing. (Remember the boy who held his pencil like a gun and was suspended a couple weeks ago? Read that one here.)
The 6-year-old was on the school bus when another boy reported the toy gun to the bus driver.
According to Old Mill Pond School the children were traumatized by this LEGO gun. Yes, they said ‘traumatized”. Apparently kindergarteners are fine with the violence on TV and in video games, but a LEGO toy gun is just too much.
The mother of the boy is upset by the school’s actions and she said that it sends to wrong message to the other children saying,
“I think they over-reacted totally. I totally do,” said Crane.
“I could see if it was you know, an air soft gun or some sort of pistol or live bullets or something. This is just a toy,” said Crane.
“At six-years-old. I don’t really think he understood the zero tolerance policy and related it to this as the same,” said Crane.
So a 6-year-old gets detention for bringing a quarter-size LEGO gun to school, while we scratch our heads and wonder that they even have detention in kindergarten. Perhaps his nap time was taken away.
School administrators are showing their true colors and bias against gun owners through recent stories with children being disciplined for simply being children.
What they are really teaching the school children is that guns are bad and people who have guns are bad. And of course this is right in line with the anti-gun agenda to ban guns and restrict the freedoms of gun carrying Americans.
And that’s why stories like this should anger gun owners everywhere. It might seem like a simple little story where a school is overly sensitive, but with more stories like this popping up all the time it’s becoming a trend and an obvious sign that criminalizing gun owners is the ultimate goal.
